Saturday 15 February, 7.30am
Meeting Point: Beckenham Park, entrance off Eastern Terrace
Session Description:
You have a "timed" (rather than distance), there are 2 courses for you to follow. Please know the turnaround times and the pace objectives for each set. There is no recovery between each set.
Session: 90min Run:
10mins easy running (turn 5mins) Course 1
10mins at 5km pace (turn 5mins) Course 2
50mins at race pace (turn 25mins) Course 1
20mins easy (turn 10mins) Course 2
Course 1 Description:
-
Run along Eastern Tce to Sandwich Rd, turn right
-
Run to the end and turn right into Waimea Tce. You are now beside the river.
-
Continue along to Colombo St, turn left.
-
Follow our cones that will lead you into Hunter Tce, you are now back beside the river on the other side.

Run along to Malcolm Ave, turn right.
-
Run up to Colombo St, turn left.
-
Turn left into Remuera Ave and run around onto Centaurus Rd.

Continue straight, following the riverside pathway.

You will come out onto Palatine Tce. Continue straight up to Buxton Tce, turn right.

Run to the end and back onto Centaurus Rd, turn left.

At your turnaround time, turn and reverse the course back to the meeting point and start straight into your next set on Course 2…
Course 2 Description:
-
Run passed the meeting point and continue up to Tennyson St, turn left.
-
Run along to Colombo St, turn left.
-
Turn left onto Fisher Ave.
-
At your turnaround time, turn and reverse the course back to the meeting point and start straight into your next set on Course 1.
