Club10k - Final Run


your final run

What a journey you guys have shared together. You have all been part of this experience and shared the challenge that lay before you. Some sessions you felt great, some you may not have felt so great, but the key is you turned up.

For some of you, your goal of running 10k is a new challenge, for others it has been  about developing yourself as a runner and improving, for all of you it has been a big commitment of time and energy over the last 8 weeks. 

Saturday morning you get to run your 10k, this is your challenge and we believe in everyone that is part of this group. We are proud to have been part of your journey to this point and we can't wait to see where it takes you from here forward.

Thanks for being such an amazing group of people. We can't wait to see you finish. Bring it on.

Your final run

Meeting Point: McCormacks Bay Reserve, McCormacks Bay Road

It is an out and back run - you run to the 2.5km marker, turn around and come back to the start point, head back out to the 2.5km marker and on the last lap - as you head towards the finish, follow our cones that will cross you over McCormacks Bay Road into McCormacks Bay Reserve and follow our cones to the finish line.

We will set you off on a warm up and then we'll start you off on your 10km run. There will be no coaches, it will be about you doing it by yourself.

Note: If you feel the run is going to take you longer than 1 hour 15mins we are going to start you off at 7am. Please only do this if you are going to take more than 1hour 15mins.

Because you have done a programme before, you can register at the earlybird rate via the button below until 11.59pm, Friday 30 August.

Our next RaceTeam is RaceTeam Queenstown which starts 9 September. You will have 1 week off after your Final Run and then start with RaceTeam for the 10 week programme.

Registrations for RaceTeam Queenstown registrations are open and earlybird closes 11.59pm, Monday 2 September!


Saturday Runners is our regular Saturday morning running group and ensures you get 1 group session in a week around your own training.  Saturday Runners continues right through Christmas and New Year. All the details for Saturday Runners are here:

  • We will be taking photos at your final run - so smile!
