Get up to Five - Final Run
Your Final run is here
8 weeks ago we gathered together at the introduction seminar, some of you were brand new to Extra Mile Runners and didn't know many people in that room, the room was full of nerves and doubt and most of us were thinking 'I'm not really sure if I can do this', 8 weeks later - you are about to run your 5km.
For some of you this is your first time, for others it's about improving on your last 5km. For all of you, it is about putting into practice the lessons you have learnt over the last 8 weeks and achieving your own goal to the best of your ability.
This has been a journey that has developed friendships, created belief in your ability and has hopefully given you a taste of the buzz of running. We hope you are proud of what you have achieved yourselves, but we have to say, our team is incredibly proud of you all.
Bring it on.
reminder: post Final Run celebration
Date: Saturday 15 December
Time: 9.15am - 10.30am
Venue: Retropolitan Social Club (the old Cargo Bar), 359 Lincoln Road

This session is all about celebrating what you have done so far and where to next. We will be doing a little bit of reflective work as well as thinking about the next steps on your running journey.
We will send you off on a warm up, do a briefing and then get you away at approximately 7.45am.
The 5km course is an out and back, with the turnaround point at 2.5km. There will be 'km' markers out at 1km, 2km and 2.5km (your turnaround marker).
There won't be any coaches with you on your run - this one you do on your own.
If you want to commit now to coming back to Extra Mile Runners in 2019, our next programmes (and first programmes for 2019) start on Monday 21 January. We would love to see you back!
Because you have done a programme before, you can register at the earlybird rate via the button below.
Remember all that you have learned over the last 8 weeks, enjoy the experience - you are awesome.
We will be taking photos at your final run - so smile!
Bring. It. On.
