The goal has been achieved

What a stunner this morning! Felt more like spring than winter - the weather gods looked after our runners ;o) There definitely were some nerves in the team which was a good sign - it means you are stepping outside your comfort zone ;o) The nerves disappeared as you focused on the job at hand, and that is exactly what you did. 

As a group you really supported each other and have now come to the end of this journey, we are very proud of you and you should be really proud of yourselves.

Take some time to reflect on what you have achieved over the last 8 weeks - so often we keep looking ahead at the next goal, but it is important to also see how far you have come ;o)

Where to from here?

It is normal to feel a little "flat" after a goal is reached, so it is important to reset quickly and develop a plan for the next period.

Club10k

We have a 7 week registration option for you which would see you joining in Week 2 of the next teams - this coming week. 

We would love to see you back, help you keep your habit of running up and see you take your running to the next level. Your final run will be on 25 August.

Registrations will close on Monday 9 July,  so please register before then!

RaceTeam Queenstown:

Our next RaceTeam is for the Queenstown Half Marathon which is on 17 November. RaceTeam starts the week beginning 10 September. If you do the next Club10k programme, you will have 2 weeks in between your final run and RaceTeam ;o). We recommend you take these 2 weeks to keep your consistency up with 3 easy runs a week. 

RaceTeam registrations open mid-July. 


Saturday Runners 

Saturday Runners is our regular Saturday morning running group and ensures you get 1 group session in a week around your own training.  All the details for Saturday Runners are here: www.saturdayrunners.co.nz
