Club10k - The Final Run
The final run
Over the last 8 weeks you have all been part of this experience and shared the challenge that lay before you. Some sessions you felt great, some you may not have felt so great, but the key is you turned up.
Many of you who came from Get up to Five applied what you had learnt already to this new challenge and have progressed leaps and bounds with your confidence, headspace towards running and your ability - we are so proud of you all.
The coaching team have focused on showing you a new level in yourself both physically and mentally, we are sure there would have been many times where you were considering throwing in the towel but you didn't, you kept on running, pushing hard and developing yourself.
Tomorrow morning you get to run your 10k, this is your challenge and we believe in everyone that is part of this group. We are proud to be a part of your journey to this point and we can't wait to see where it takes you from here forward. Thanks for being such an amazing group of people. We can't wait to see you finish tomorrow morning.
The final run
This is a 3 lap course.
We will set you off on a warm up and then we'll start you off on your 10km run. There will be no coaches, it will be about you doing it by yourself. Bring it on!
Note: If you feel the run is going to take you longer than 1 hour 15mins we are going to start you off at 7am. Please only do this if you are going to take more than 1hour 15mins.

YOU. YOU ARE THE INSPIRATION THIS WEEK. YOU HAVE WORKED HARD, COMMITTED TO THIS PROGRAMME AND HAVE CREATED A HABIT WITHIN A BUSY LIFE. YOU HAVE INSPIRED MANY OF OUR RUNNERS AROUND YOU AND WE ARE SURE YOU HAVE INSPIRED PEOPLE IN YOUR OWN LIFE. BE PROUD.
- Our next 9.30am groups begin 19 July. The Club10k programme will again be the hybrid. For those of you looking to do Raceteam Queenstown, this programme begins in September. Please get in touch after your final run if you are not sure "where to from here" for your running.
We'll be taking some photo's in the morning so bring your smiley face ;-)
'Don't go too fast at the start! Run at your own pace - don't worry about what anyone else is doing around you, this is your journey, Enjoy it.' - Coach Jo
