Club10k - Final Run
your final run
What a journey you guys have shared together. You have all been part of this experience and shared the challenge that lay before you. Some sessions you felt great, some you may not have felt so great, but the key is you turned up.
For some of you, your goal of running 10k is a new challenge, for others it has been about developing yourself as a runner and improving, for all of you it has been a big commitment of time and energy over the last 8 weeks.
Saturday morning you get to run your 10k, this is your challenge and we believe in everyone that is part of this group. We are proud to have been part of your journey to this point and we can't wait to see where it takes you from here forward.
Thanks for being such an amazing group of people. We can't wait to see you finish. Bring it on.

SATURDAY RUNNERS CHRISTMAS: PACK OF CARDS SESSION
...AND COLLECTION FOR THE CITY MISSION FOOD BANK
Every year, the Saturday before Christmas we have a Christmas session for our team. It is a free session for everyone and is a bit of fun - we dress up in a Christmassey theme and have a slightly different kind of session - we would love to see you!
We also do a collection for the City Mission Food Bank, so if you would like to contribute a nonperishable food item, we deliver the goodies to the City Mission after the session.
Date: Saturday 23 December
Location: North Hagley Park, Armagh Street Bridge entrance (you will see us!)
Coffee: Bunsen (the old Le Cafe in the Arts Centre), we have reserved the Mezzanine area.
How the session works:
Santa has a pack of cards. You run up to him and she draws a card from the pack - will it be a Heart, Club, Diamond, Spade, beware an Ace or a Joker?
Each card "suit" has a station assigned to it eg:
Hearts = shuttle runs
Diamonds = out and back run
Spade = Burpies
Clubs = pressups
Beware the Ace or a Joker!
What ever card you get, you run to that station and do the exercise assigned to it. Once completed, you run back to Santa for the next card. Everyone works to their own pace, it's heaps of fun!
'Give it heaps! You are awesome, we are so proud of you all' - The EMR Coaching team
